Sea glass is broken glass that has found its way to the ocean where it is transformed into frosted treasures by the natural tumbling action of the tides. Sea glass washes up on beaches all over the world. There are a few different terms for sea glass such as, beach glass, driftglass and mermaids tears. The glass makes its way in to the ocean from shipwrecks or old coastal dumps, but most comes from rubbish left on the beach.
I only work with genuine sea glass that I have found on the beaches in Cornwall, while out walking my Border Collie Dylan.
